That's the official Christian formulation for how we shall recognize whether things are doing God's work or not.

So, if you're a Christian, please ask yourself whether the things listed below truly lead to "love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control" or not.

To do once again my standard trick of "inverting" the meanings to shed additional light - The fruit of lack of the Spirit would seem to be:

Ill-will, a troubled heart, contention, restlessness,
hard-heartedness, betrayal, unkindness, and self-indulgence.

Hmm...

- It also seems pretty obvious to me that even non-Christians (such as myself) should find little to argue with in these formulations.
